Differential contract

 What is a CFD?

CFD is a specialized, publicly traded OTC financial derivative that allows investors to trade price fluctuations in stock index futures, commodity futures, stocks, and exchange-traded funds.

Through this product, investors can trade freely without having to actually possess actual assets or acquire any rights or obligations related to actual assets. The main benefit of trading CFDs is the flexibility to trade price fluctuations without actually buying and selling physical instruments.

GSHK's CFDs are derived from the price of actual assets. If an investor believes that the price of a financial instrument may rise (strength) and if the price is likely to fall (weak), the CFD can be traded. The profit or loss of trading CFDs online depends on the difference between the buyer's purchase and sale.

Method of trading CFDs

There are many strategies that are commonly used when trading CFDs. Even if the trader is not skilled, you can understand these strategies. These involve many trading methods, the most popular of which is long and short.

Long position

A long position in a CFD trade is to buy an asset. This means that the value of this asset will rise or predict to rise during the contract period.

Long-term trading is because of the high predictive power, in which traders can act in the event of lower market volatility. The duration of a transaction under normal conditions ranges from one month to more than one year.

Short position

A short position is established when a trader feels that the value of the asset will fall and chooses to “sell out”, but the trader intends to buy back the asset later.

For example, traders predict that asset prices will fall during the contract period and are therefore short. If the forecast fails and the asset price begins to rise, the open position will suffer a loss, calculated by the opening price of the asset during the period minus the closing price. Conversely, if the open position indicates that the value of the selected asset will fall, the forecast is accurate.

Short-term trading can generate profits in a short period of time, even at minute levels. The advantage of short-term trading is to limit financial costs.

Trader during the period

This may be a "moderate approach" that can trade both indefinite futures and contracts, as well as short-term or long-term CFD strategies.

Ways to trade CFDs

Relative to most brokers, you can enjoy the widest range of commodities, stocks and stock indexes in GSHK transactions.

  • Trade all major commodities with a leverage of up to 50:1

  • MetaTrader 4 desktop, tablet and mobile phone can be installed

  • Leading US, European and Asian stock indexes

  • Do more or short - trade your point of view in the market

  • Index trading maximum leverage 200:1

What are the advantages of CFDs?

No transaction fees – Investors do not need to own actual assets or acquire rights or obligations related to actual assets. This is a contract between a customer and GSHK.

Leveraged trading – Relative to possessing real assets, you need to spend a lot less money to open a trade. Of course, leverage is a double-edged sword that can significantly amplify losses and profits.

No stamp duty – For many people, CFDs are not subject to stamp duty (this depends on your personal environment and jurisdiction and may vary).

Multi-tool investment – you can trade a wealth of tools on the same trading platform.

Both up and down markets can be traded – depending on market conditions and your trading strategy, you can short or long.

CFDs do not expire – in general, the market generally follows the decline, which is a continuous uninterrupted market cycle.

Hedging potential – If there is no default trading direction, you can open an equivalent position in the opposite direction, which is a buffer for your trading.
